What Are Prebuilt Patterns?
Patterns are predefined layouts or sections that you can insert into your pages or posts. They include combinations of blocks styled to achieve specific designs or functionalities, such as headers, footers, call-to-action sections, and more.
How to Add Prebuilt Patterns to a Page
Step 1: Open the Page/Post Editor
- Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Pages or Posts and select the page or post where you want to add the pattern.
Step 2: Open the Patterns Library
- In the Block Editor (Gutenberg), click the “+” button at the top-left corner to open the block inserter.
- Switch to the Patterns tab within the inserter panel.
Step 3: Filter by Category
- Locate the Theme Name such as (Shark FSE) category in the patterns list.
- Click on it to view all available prebuilt patterns under this category.
Step 4: Insert a Pattern
- Browse the available patterns and select the one you want to use.
- Click on the pattern to insert it into your page.
Step 5: Customize the Pattern
- Once inserted, you can edit the content, images, colors, and other design elements directly within the editor to match your requirements.
Step 6: Save Changes
- After making the desired changes, click Update or Publish to save the page/post.
